Most of the larger companies will employ a subcontractor to turn up at your home who will have no connection to the company and therefore less of a vested interest in the end result of your Grand Design.

WHEN EMPLOYING A LOCAL TRADESMAN.

1. Do your research, ask for references and contact details of previous customers.

2. Check them out do not just simply believe what the contractor has told you, contact their customers your self and hear it from the horse’s mouth.

3. All reputable local General Builders should have many satisfied local customers, if they can not provide references from happy clients then the odds are they are cowboys and you should not employ them full stop.
